What type of meals do you offer?

Our menu changes weekly, giving you a variety of meals for your different dietary needs and taste preferences. In addition to our Chef’s Choice and Protein Plus meals, we have dietary options that include Keto, Calorie Smart, Vegetarian, Vegan, and more.

Keto: Delicious keto-friendly meals with 15 grams of net carbs or less.

Calorie Smart: Perfectly portioned meals with around 550 calories (or less) per serving.

Vegetarian: Wholesome, flavourful, meat-free meals with alternative proteins.

Vegan: Dietitian-approved meals completely free of ingredients derived from animals or animal by-products. These meals are free from meat, poultry, fish, dairy, eggs, and honey.

Protein Plus: Meals that contain 30 grams or more of protein.

Do you offer ketogenic meals?

Yes — we offer ketogenic meals. Our keto-friendly meals are labeled with a "KETO" tag underneath the photo of the meal.

Factor’s ketogenic meals are designed to contain a maximum of 15 grams of net carbohydrates. Since each individual has a different carbohydrate threshold that allows you to remain in ketosis, the carbohydrate content of our meals varies. Our keto meals also have moderate to high levels of fat and protein

Do you offer vegetarian or vegan meals?
Yes, we do offer vegetarian meals, and we are working hard at adding even more options to our menu! We strive to have 2-3 vegetarian options on the menu every single week! Many of these vegetarian meals are also considered vegan, which means they are designed to be free of all animal products - no meat, fish, eggs, or dairy!
Are these meals for weight loss?

While our meals are not designed specifically for weight loss, they can help you meet your nutrition-related goals depending on how you combine our meals with the other food you enjoy in a day.

Are your meals on nutrition apps?
We currently enter our meals into MyFitnessPal - if you use this app, then you don't have to enter in the macros for individual meals, as we do that work for you! Unfortunately, if you use any other nutrition counter app, you'd have to enter in the details manually, as we don't have barcodes for our meals at this time.
Why is there so much fat in these meals?
The fat will vary in our meals based on the type of meal that you are looking at. Please note, meals marked as “Keto” are designed to have the majority of calories coming from sources of fat. If you’re looking to lower your fat consumption, we recommend choosing from our selection of Calorie Smart, Vegetarian, and Vegan meals!
How many calories are in one meal?

Most of our meals range from 350-900 calories and will average around 600 calories per meal. Occasionally a meal will go above or below this. In order to select the meals best for you, always make sure to click on the images of the meals on the menu page to see the nutrition facts label and ingredients!

Do you offer low-sodium meals?
At this time, we do not offer low-sodium meals. If you are looking for the lowest possible sodium meals, simply click on the photo of each meal to determine the sodium content. Remember, you always have the ability to update the meals coming to you every week on or before our Wednesday 11:59PM PT deadline!
How do I view ingredients and nutritional information?
You can view full nutritional information for each meal by visiting our menu! Click on the thumbnail image of any meal you're interested in, and the details for that meal will pop up on the screen.
What if I have an allergy?

Food safety is something that we take seriously and we include allergen declarations on each and every Factor meal. As noted in our Terms and Conditions, we strongly recommend that customers with food allergen sensitivities or restrictions carefully review individual product packages for the most updated information regarding ingredients and allergen declaration before consuming. Additionally, we recommend reviewing the ingredient list on our website, prior to selecting meals, to determine if they contain any ingredients you are unable to consume.

Please note, our meals are produced in a facility that also processes wheat, milk, soy, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, and shellfish.

Do you offer plans for people with special requirements?

Transparency is important to Factor, and we make it our priority to provide as much nutrition information to our customers about every ingredient in every recipe as possible.

Because an expansive amount of dietary preferences and dietary needs exist, we are unable to accommodate each one. We leave it to our customers to review the ingredients and determine which meals best meet their dietary needs.

Do you use any processed ingredients?

We take a lot of pride in the quality of our ingredients and believe in using nutritious, whole foods. Below is a list of ingredients we ensure never show up in any of our recipes:

Refined Sugars • Sugar, Cane sugar, Beet sugar, Dextrose, Glucose, Sucrose, Fructose, Corn syrup, High fructose corn syrup, Turbinado, Raw sugar

Sweeteners • Acesulfame-K, Advantame, Aspartame, Aspartame-acesulfame salt, Neotame, Saccharin, Sucralose, Sorbitol, Mannitol

Refined Oils • Partially-hydrogenated oils, Soybean oil, Canola oil, Corn oil, Vegetable oil, Safflower oil

Nitrates or Nitrites (synthetic) • Potassium nitrate/nitrite, Sodium nitrate/nitrite

Preservatives • Potassium metabisulfite, Sodium metabisulfite, Sorbic acid (potassium sorbate, calcium sorbate), Benzoates (sodium benzoate, potassium benzoate and benzene), BHA (butylated hydroxyanisole) and BHT (butylated hydroxytoluene), Sulfites (sodium bisulphite, sodium dithionite, sodium metabisulphite, disodium sulphite, sulfite, potassium metabisulphite)

What quality of meats and seafood do you use?
We select our vendors with great care, and we are proud to say that all of our meat and seafood is “raised without the use of antibiotics,“ as a minimum standard.
