What are Factor’s delivery times?
How do the meals stay fresh during transit?
We ship our meals in insulated boxes with ice packs that will keep the box at refrigerated temperatures for quite a long time. We thoroughly test them in all seasons across all climates.
Keep in mind that it is normal for the ice packs to be slightly melted by the time they arrive. This is because they release cold air into the box as they melt. The cold air does dissipate quickly when you open it, so you should transfer the meals to the fridge immediately.
Do I need to be home to accept the delivery?
No. Our couriers drop your box off at the spot specified in your Delivery Instructions if you aren’t home to receive it.
If you have unusual delivery challenges or want to make sure someone receives the package to avoid loss, you can also choose one of the following solutions to make sure your delivery is received:
- Have the package delivered to an alternate address where someone will be there to accept your package safely
- Request we deliver the package to your concierge if you live in a condo or apartment building
- Provide buzzer instructions to the courier via the Delivery Instructions to leave the box safely inside your home
- Have the box delivered to your workplace
Your account includes a Delivery Instructions section to make it easy for you to include specific directions based on your unique situation.
The information remains private and secure. All deliveries are made by screened courier companies that ensure they hire trustworthy, bonded delivery people.
How long do the meals last after delivery?
Can I skip a delivery?
We know life changes from week to week, so you have the ability to skip deliveries on our website or app. Please note, orders must be skipped prior to our weekly cutoff, which is always 11:59 pm PST on Wednesdays for delivery the following week.
Website: Log in to your account, select the date you'd like to skip and click the 'Edit Delivery' button. You'll see a pop-up, and you can click 'Skip Week'.
App: Navigate to the week you want to skip and click on the three dots at the top right corner. Then click on "Skip Week" at the top right corner.
