What are Factor’s delivery times?

Our delivery times are based on your postal code. You can expect your delivery Saturday-Wednesday between 8am-8pm.
For a more specific delivery time in your area, use our friendly bot at the bottom right of this page to find your postal code.
This allows us to present the most accurate information, as someone living in an urban area, such as Toronto, Ontario, will not have the same expected time as someone living in a more remote area.

How do you keep my delivery fresh en route to my door?

This is an excellent question and something we take very seriously. All our boxes contain an insulated liner and ice packs to keep your food fresh until you get home the night of delivery.
You can be sure we take every step to protect your food and ensure it is stored at the proper temperature to avoid issues with the food’s safety or quality.

Do I have to be home to accept delivery?

No. Our couriers drop your box off at the spot specified in your Delivery Instructions if you aren’t home to receive it.
If you have unusual delivery challenges or want to make sure someone receives the package to avoid loss, you can also choose one of the following solutions to make sure your delivery is received:

  • Have the package delivered to an alternate address where someone will be there to accept your package safely
  • Request we deliver the package to your concierge if you live in a condo or apartment building
  • Provide buzzer instructions to the courier via the Delivery Instructions to leave the box safely inside your home
  • Have the box delivered to your workplace

Your account includes a Delivery Instructions section to make it easy for you to include specific directions based on your unique situation.
The information remains private and secure. All deliveries are made by screened courier companies that ensure they hire trustworthy, bonded delivery people.

How much extra do you charge for delivery?

The only way to ensure your food is delivered fresh to your door is to use an efficient, trustworthy delivery service.
We take great care in ensuring that, no matter what area of Ontario you live in, your Factor order arrives promptly and safely.
This comes with a shipping cost which you’ll see when you select your plan and check out.

How do I know how long my meals will stay fresh after delivery?

Your meals will stay fresh for seven days when stored correctly in the fridge. Each meal also has an “Enjoy By” date printed on each of the meal sleeves, so you know when you should eat them.
This reduces the risk of meals going to waste.
